Weather in Ajaccio, Corsica

The climate in Corsica is very much Mediterranean. The summers are hot and in winter the temperature is moderate. Of course the weather does vary due to the altitudes and it is said to be more alpine than Mediterranean in the mountains. The rainiest months on the island are between March and April, and October and November. Generally speaking, the North is hotter than the South and the West is drier than the East.
